Welcome to the DotHouse Health Nutrition Department!  We know that it can be difficult to make nutrition and lifestyle changes alone. Our Registered Nutritionist is here to help you determine what is important to you and how best to go about making changes to improve your health and well-being.

We provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy for the following conditions:

Your first appointment with the nutritionist will last approximately 45 minutes. The nutritionist will get to know you and your goals while guiding you to accomplish your lifestyle improvement!

In addition to individual appointments, the Nutrition Department offers ongoing group nutrition education including:

The Diabetes Group for Vietnamese speaking adults meets on Thursday mornings once a month.We discuss different topics relating to diabetes in a relaxed group setting. To learn more, talk to your provider.

What happens at an appointment with the nutritionist?

 

The nutritionist will review your medical history and talk with you to get to know your lifestyle and goals. Appointments are guided by the unique needs of each patient. At the end of your first appointment, you will have specific goals and a plan that will be your first step towards improved health. Most patients return for a nutrition follow up appointment.

 

How do I make an appointment?

A referral from a Dothouse Health provider is needed prior to scheduling an appointment.

It can be scheduled by a Medical Assistant, front desk staff, or by calling the Appointment Line at 617-740-2320.

Do I need to be a DotHouse Health patient to be seen by the nutritionist?
