Biography: Dr. Le is a primary care optometrist with a special interest in ocular disease, dry eye, and myopia control. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the Boston VA Medical Center. She is credentialed with the Boston Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology. In her spare time, Dr. Le enjoys gardening, exercising, and spending time with her family.

Christine Kumar

Biography: Dr. Kumar joined the DotHouse team in July 2022 as an optometry resident with a focus in Primary Care, Ocular Disease, and Community Health Optometry. She loved the community of patients and providers so much that she stayed on as a full-time provider and has officially been in this role since August 2023! She enjoys pediatrics, working with students, and getting to work with providers of different specialties within the community health center. Outside of work, Dr. Kumar enjoys being outside, reading, and trying new coffee shops. She is excited to be part of the Dothouse family!

Grace Jeong, OD

Biography: Dr. Grace Jeong is the director of eye care service and a primary care optometrist with a special interest in low vision ocular care. She completed her optometric degree at the New England College of Optometry in 2014 and completed a residency in low vision and ocular disease at the West Haven VA Medical Center. After residency, she worked as a clinical optometrist in private practice and at Boston Medical Center. In 2018, she joined DotHouse Health to further pursue her interest in serving underserved and diverse communities. She is also an adjunct faculty at the New England College of Optometry and provides clinical education to optometric residents and interns at DotHouse Health. During her free time, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, gardening, and traveling.

Rachel Berkowitz

Biography: Dr Berkowitz joined the DotHouse team in Nov 2021. She is a primary care optometrist with special interests in ocular disease, community health, and clinical teaching. She attended the Illinois College of Optometry and completed a residency in ocular disease at the VA in Brockton, MA. She serves as the student coordinator and provides clinical education to our optometric interns from the New England College of Optometry.

Sidney Perez

Biography:Dr. Perez is a certified primary care optometrist with a special interest in contact lens for ocular surface disease and irregular corneas. She received her doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2021. After completing her degree she worked at a cornea and refractive surgery practice as a clinical optometrist. Her passion for equity and healthcare for all is the reason she joined DotHouse Health in 2023. She currently is an adjunct faculty at the New England College of Optometry for contact lens lab and interns at DotHouse Health. When she is not in the clinic she enjoys tennis, painting, and cooking
