Job Title: Dentists
Job Duties: Provide and oversee direct dental diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care for a specified patient population. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assess medical conditions. Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. Manage the daily operations of patient care , or research function, as appropriate to the objective of the dental clinic. Provide additional specialty dental services such as periodontal evaluations for complex cases, simple extractions, surgical extractions for partially erupted third molars, crown lengthening, tuberosity and tori reductions, autogenous grafts, and guided-implant dentistry. Follow established department policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. Manage the dental office infection control place to meet OSHA, CDC, ADA, and HIPPA standards. Participate in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention and risk assessments. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Dental Director.
Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (“DDS”), Doctor of Dental Medicine (“DMD”), or the foreign equivalent in Dentistry;
- One (1) year of employment experience as a Dentist;
- Current license or limited license to practice dentistry in the state of Massachusetts;
- Knowledge of community health center-based dental practices; and
- Completion of dental residency in periodonotology.
Salary: $107,286.00 per year
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, M-F
